Indien. Rajasthan: As drone landings with drugs from Pak rise, villagers panic

Farmers in villages close to the India-Pakistan border in Sriganganagar district are more concerned about drug smuggling than farming crises. Drug supply from Pakistan, facilitated by the use of drones, has increased in recent years. The drugs are dropped on cultivated fields and collected by local dealers. The rise in smuggling activities has led to drug addiction among the youth, causing a bleak future. Villagers accuse Pakistan of smuggling drugs and claim that there is a drug supply nexus between Punjab and Pakistan. Families fear being framed in drug smuggling cases without their involvement.
